AfiFarm Onboarding Program by Amir Ben Yehoshua

Over the past year the A-Team (application support team) was busy developing a new and very exciting tool; a self-training video program. These videos are part of the onboarding protocol that comprises self-training and several remote sessions with certified trainers that validate what the farmer already learned by himself from the videos and what else they should train him.  

Topics include:

  • How to take an action. For example, enter insemination, or calving or enter new cow.
  • How to use all the main and most important reports. For example, all the ABC reports (Animal for Insemination, Ketosis, Mastitis etc.).
  • How to use the new mobile App.
  • How to build reports, codes, graph, new inseminator name comments and more.
  • How to use the farm management reports, diagnosis summary, fertility general, fertility by bull or inseminator etc.

The videos have no audio; however, they include pop-up balloons with simple instructions that explain how to do it. There are also questions embedded in the videos with multiple answers options.

The videos are placed on a special platform called Enabley, that allow users to access it online from their smartphones and\or laptops, PCs, iPads etc. This way they can log into the training courses at their own convenience, whenever they have the time or the need to learn it. Its always there.

The platform also allows the A-Team to monitor their customers activities and performance in the different courses and videos and be able to call the ones who need more direct help.

The training materials will be available to all our users in their language, right now we were able to translate the videos into the following languages: English, Spanish, French and Chinese, Dutch and Russians are in process.

Our approach is to implement an onboarding protocol that includes remote training and self-training tools. As I mentioned, we allow the end users self-training with remote monitoring and training by our Application Support team.

The main goal of this program is to eventually improve dramatically our Customer Success.
