Global Procurement by Ben Reuven

The new Global Procurement Team had a very challenging year in 2020,

We have faced with a Covid19 components and resources availability issue and with the challenge of supporting Afimilk grows without any sales impact.

We have built new operation structure and split between tactic supply chain and commercial activities.

Global procurement achievements for 2020, as follows:

  • We managed to build procurement infrastructure with the legal department (PO’s T&C, NDA etc.).
  • Having 300K$ cost reduction in 2019 and up to 1M$ in 2020 that impact on the P&L and company cash flow.
  • Build new company strategy approach.
  • We start building KPI routines that measuring the tactic supply chain deliveries and supporting Afimilk production ramp up.
  • Join venture with formal electronic distributer and agreement for supporting allocation and price increasing due to Covid19.
  • Mitigated suppliers’ risk – building dual source for strategic suppliers
  • New contracts with key suppliers (39 agreement & BID’s overall)
  • Build the synergy supply chain and cost reduction from the R&D phase.
  • Build new supply chain and pricing for new products – Aficollar (Ionics) and Afipass2 (CBT)
  • New company processes: A. Aficollar Drop shipment company process Ionics (Philippines) to dealers.
  1. B. Afimilk China Limited – new logistics and commercial process.
  2. C. New R&D and Engineering global approval process for suppliers & manufactures.

With all the above behind us, I hope for a better year at 2021.

I have defined the infrastructures that I plan to build to support the company’s continuous growth and achieve excellence in procurement and operations.
