The two years of COVID-19 pandemic have been difficult and different from what we experienced before. In the context of the pandemic, we at Afimilk were forced to change our methods of work. Now we communicate much more with our dealers and representatives remotely. We began to pay more attention to them and we try to help and support them in times of crisis. Moreover, we are even closer to the end users, managers, and specialists of the farms where our equipment is installed. Farm specialists can now contact Afimilk Israel directly at any time for questions related to herd management. It can be both technical issues and issues related to the software. That is, we have become closer to our customers.
At the beginning of February 2022, we finally completed a big project with our long-standing customer and partner Agroholding Steppe in the Krasnodar Territory. They are not only one of the leading milk producers in the country but the most efficient one. They have the highest productivity of 14,000 L of milk per cow annually.
We concluded a contract for delivery of Afimilk equipment for two heavy-duty Parallel milking parlors 2×30 in 2019. The equipment was shipped to the customer in February 2020, everything was going as planned. And then came COVID… The customer had problems with the construction of the milking parlors and preparation of the required infrastructure. When everything was ready for installation of Afimilk equipment, we couldn’t send our specialists to supervise the installation due to COVID-19 restrictions. The installation works were executed by our official dealer in the Krasnodar Territory, company YUGAFIMILK. Gennady Migdalovich was supervising the installation process online. Step by step, we were getting closer to the completion of the project. Finally, on 18 October 2021, the 1st milking parlor 2×30 was put into operation and on 2 February 2022 milking started in the 2nd parlor. We even received the final payment from the customer, after two years 😊. Great job!
